Flow with Him.

December 16, 2016

“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come” John 16:13, ESV.

There is a ride at a water amusement park called the lazy river. It flowed in one direction, and nothing could change the current of it, nor can you fight against it. This river was designed that if you would relax and flow with it, it would carry you throughout the park.

Like that river, The Holy Spirit is described as living water, and He’s always flowing. Always leading and guiding. He never stops. At every turn, every decision, every situation, the Holy Spirit is flowing with the very grace, the words to say, the wisdom for living, the Word from God you need to bless your life. He flows with God ideas, and ways to use your gifts to prosper you.

Some of us are fighting against the current of the Holy Spirit, instead of flowing with the Holy Spirit. It is time to quit fighting the current. Quit fight the direction He’s trying to take you. The love of God is too strong. Lay back and flow with His leading so He can carry you right into the truth of God’s will. The Father wants to show up do all the awesome things you hear that He can do in your life.

Trust God and flow with His Spirit.

Prayer: Father, I ask to receive the Holy Spirit. I ask that You open my eyes to His leading. I desire to live a blessed life. You are always leading and guiding, and Holy Spirit, I’m going to flow with You into everything God has for me. I quit fighting against the current. I’m living Your way. I’m flowing with You in every area of my my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
