“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness” Lamentations 3:22-23, NKJV.
The mercies of God are new every morning. You haven’t experienced the mercy you woke up to today. Whether you made a mistake, hurt someone, or you completely made a mess of something in your life, He has new mercies available today for you.
The heart of God is nothing old for a new day! New mercies are able to eradicate old things, if you receive them. If we let new mercies do what God has intended them to produce in us, they will encourage us to leave yesterday behind.
This mercy displays the great love and salvation found in Jesus Christ. It’s His way of affirming to us that it is never too late — to change, to live, to love, to heal, to make it right, to be happy, to win, to finish strong. Whatever you are going through, you are never too far gone. As long as He gives you breath, receive His new mercies for a new day.
Prayer: Father, Thank You for Your new mercies You give me every morning. Your compassion never fails. Because of Jesus, I am forgiven. Your hand of salvation reaches me wherever I am and revives me. Help me to completely receive Your new mercies this morning. Let Your mighty will be done in my life today. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
