Make it new Lord.

February 1, 2018

“He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new.’ Then He said: ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true” Revelations 21:5, NIV.

Beloved. Is there something you are battling with in your heart today? Something that is weighing you down to breaking point? A broken marriage? Broken relationship? Trouble at work, or problems with your finances? I have often found that when something is not right within my family, my inner circle, although it appears to be a small thing, it affects me in the deepest way, and then there is a domino-effect of mishaps in other areas. If this is the same for you my brother, then I have a solution. See, our King says He makes everything new (Rev 21:5 & Isa 43:19), and He wants to renew you in every way.

The past two months have been a trying time for me and a brother. We have been at odds and misunderstanding each other so I kept trying to reach out to him and it felt, at the same time, that he was trying to get away from me as much as possible. Until one morning I was inspired and the Spirit of the Lord was upon me (Isa 60:1). I went to him, called him aside and I took his hand, and prayed for him, for our friendship to be renewed and to grow from strength to strength. When I was finished, I could see his eyes were on the verge of tears. It was just what we both needed. Restoration and renewal. Praise the Lord!

So if you have any troublesome relations, go ahead and give it all to God. Plead the blood of Jesus Christ over them, and tell your family and friends how much you love them because your King never ever hides His love from you.

Prayer: Father, this day I want to let go of all my material worries and only carry those I love in my heart. I give all of these relationships to you, Lord, all of my people. You are my Savior and You and only You can bring renewal to my life. I stand ready in you, Jesus. I won’t be shaken by any challenge or trial. I welcome it for You, oh Holy Father, are the God over the storms. I rest in your peace and I rejoice in the renewal to come and Your will be done. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
