“Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour” John 12:27, NKJV.
Jesus said His hour had come. It was time to go to the cross and he knew it. He knew it was going to be tough, and the pain He would have to endure to save us. Yet, he came to the conclusion that this hour is the very reason he was birthed in the earth in the first place. Then, there was nothing left up to discuss, or to think about, and He made the courageous decision to do it.
Have you felt like Jesus, asking God to save you from your calling? Yet, if you were birthed in the earth to write, and your hour comes, you should write. Why? Because to write is the very reason you’re here. If you are called to ministry and your hour has come, then don’t run. Embrace it and minister. Why? This is the very thing God put you in the earth to accomplish. For whatever it is, if your hour has come, do it. You are at this very moment to do what you were created for.
There’s nothing left to discuss, hesitate about, or doubt. Just as God graced and favored Jesus, he has graced and favored you. Just as He anointed Jesus, He has anointed you to do what you came here for. It’s your hour to courageously do what God purposed for you to do.
Prayer: Father, thank You for Your word. Jesus you are awesome! When your hour came, you did what you were put here to do. Help me do the same. Give me your courage to do the same. Give all of us men the brave heart of obedience to do the same. I thank you and I will do it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
