If He said it, He will do it.

December 24, 2018

“Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it” Jeremiah 1:12, Amplified.

You may be a man of your word and can make a strong commitment to do something, but there’s still a possibility something will come up. Stuff happens out of our control. The kids may need that “oh, we forgot daddy” something for school and you have to be late. You could drop your wallet. You could have a flat tire on the way. I mean all types of the unexpected could arise to prevent you from doing what you said.

But not God.

He is infallible, all-wise, holy, and just. Nothing will come up with God. Not one thing will stop Him from doing what He said in your life. Nothing will happen outside of His control because He’s always in control. He’s never late and always on time. When He says something, He watches over what He spoke to perform it. He is the only One that can and will always keep His word.

He is not surprised by where you are. He’s not losing it because there’s just too many people praying, and He can’t keep up. God isn’t sweating bullets, wondering can He make it to you on time. He’s not under any pressure. He loves His sons and He won’t let you down.

He is not a man that He should lie. He is unstoppable, and if He said, He will do it. He knows exactly what He is doing and you can joyfully trust Him!

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your ability to do what You said in my life. Nothing has come up and You are always in control. I will rejoice because You watch over Your word to perform it. I may not see it, but You are active in my life, and You will bless me with exactly what I have need of. Help me to always rejoice and joyfully put my trust in You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
