I pray you sow good seed.

March 12, 2018

“I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35, NKJV.

Today, I pray you help someone and buy their groceries. I pray you help your child with their homework. I pray you give an ear to someone that needs you to listen. I pray you give financially to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I pray you yield to the Holy Spirit’s leading today. I pray you make your wife laugh today. I pray you celebrate someone else’s promotion. I pray you say no to fear of sharing Jesus.

I pray you buy that extra coffee for your co-worker. I pray you obey God when He says fast. I pray you encourage someone. I pray you give that homeless person some money out of your car window. I pray you love and do good to your enemies. I pray you show mercy to at least person that deserves it. I pray you call your friend, your boy, you haven’t heard from in a while. I pray you live mightily for God. I pray you visit that relative in jail just to encourage them.

I pray you sow good seed today. Not just the seed of money, which is a form of seed, but the seed of being good to those around you. This seed that displays the character and nature of God.

Prayer: Father God, I thank You for blessing me to be a blessing to someone today. I am available to be used by You in whatever way You desire to make someone’s day. Let my good works cause people to see Your light and glorify You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Study: Matthew 10:8; Ephesians 5:1-2; Romans 12:21
