“And the Child continued to grow and become strong [in spirit], filled with wisdom; and the grace (favor, spiritual blessing) of God was upon Him” Luke 2:40, Amplified version.
Long before God’s grace is experienced in your life publicly, it will rest on your life privately. It will be present to help you and prepare you for God’s will. As a child, the grace of God was upon Jesus helping him and preparing him for the assignment from God ahead.
Grace is not only God’s unmerited favor, but it is also God’s spiritual blessing and empowerment from Him to carry out His will for you. Learn to recognize God’s grace upon you in every moment and season. It is His indicator to what He wants you to carry out. It will also confirm again and again what your purpose is and that you are not ever asked of God to do anything alone, even when you prepare. The grace of God is upon you.
There will be days the Lord will have you rise up early to work on your ministry, your business, or that God idea. Be encouraged to obey the Holy Spirit and flow with His grace. There will be nights He will be flooding you with strength to do something. Flow with His grace. By His Spirit, He is giving you the grace in private to accomplish His purpose for you.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for not only providing the grace to walk in my calling, but also the grace to prepare for it. Help me to recognize Your grace when it is operating in my life. As I see it, give me the courage and grace itself to obey You. May I be like Jesus and continue to grow, as more and more grace is placed on my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!
