“Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?” Romans 2:4, NKJV.
As I wake up this morning, I looked at all the God has done and was doing in my life, I couldn’t help but realize that God has been good to me, even when I didn’t deserve it. He’s been so good that He’s breaking me down. It is bringing me to a point of change, to a point of yes, to where I can’t help but follow Jesus anywhere.
I believe He is doing the same in your life. His goodness, even in the times you were the least deserving of it, He’s being good even more. He keeps blessing you. Let the goodness of God help you and break you down as a man. Let it help bring you joy, peace and an assurance that everything will be alright in your life. Let it bring you to a place of repentance, to a point of yes to Jesus, to a point of change.
Prayer: Father, I praise You and I thank You for being good to me. Through even my ups and downs, You are showing that You love me and are for me. Your kindness, patience and mercy toward me is overwhelming me. Help me to see how good You are being in my life, and may it bring me to a point of yes, to a point of change. I”ll follow you Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
