He will do more than what you ask for!

April 29, 2018

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” Ephesians 3:20, NJKV.

When a man asks God for something, you can expect Him to do far exceed what you’ve asked for. Exceedingly abundantly here in the Greek means that God will do what is SUPERABUNDANT in quantity and SUPERIOR in quality above what we can ask for or imagine. It’s like asking for a good deal, He gives you a great deal. You ask for one salary, He gives you a far higher one. You ask for a good woman, He gives you an outstanding one, even full of the attributes you didn’t even realize you wanted. Your dreams will never be bigger than what God will do, and you can always view all of His promises this way.

Look at the very power at work in you. Look at the great work He’s done in you, the work of His Holy Spirit in you, the great salvation you have received, and how your life has changed. Who would have known the man He could make you into! It is as a blueprint and affirms that you have a good heavenly Father that fulfills every promise that He’s made. You have a big God that you serve with a big plan for you and it is nothing short of glorious in your eyes. He’s going to bless you with every dream and every prayer you’ve asked for according to His will–and it will be far better than what you can imagine.

Therefore, when with a right and clean heart that you ask, sincerely ask of the Father for anything you need, know that He will not only answer, but He is going to always superabundantly exceed your petition.

Prayer: Thank You Father! Thank you Jesus for such a great salvation. Each day, every time I pray, help this man to always know that You will do exceeding and abundantly beyond what I can ask or think of, according to the power at work in me! Wow! I serve a big God. Let me never view what I ask for the same. I thank You for it in advance. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
