“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:19, KJV.
The writer made it personal in regards to how he referred to God. It is similar to ownership, such as my wife or my child. God isn’t just another believer’s God. He isn’t a God that is far off. He is my God.
In your challenge, in whatever mountain is before you, in whatever success you are in pursuit of, make God personal to you. Bring Him close to where you are. Make your relationship with Him even more relevant and powerful at this moment, making a difference in your fight of faith and in your confidence. Don’t leave Him afar off. Acknowledge Him not only as God, but He is your God.
Your God will supply all of your need! Your God will help. Your God will deliver. Your God will heal. Your God will speak to you when you ask what to do. He doesn’t just provide for someone else. The same God is Your God, and He will provide for you also.
Make it a point to say He is my God. There is no more barrier of sin between you and the Father by Christ Jesus.
Prayer: Father, You just don’t provide for someone else, You provide for me. You are my God too. You belong to me and I belong to You. I am Your son and You won’t let me down. I believe You are able! I praise You in advance for meeting all my needs. You are my God. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
