“Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever” Psalm 106:1, NKJV.
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:6, NKJV.
God is good! That is Who He is, and that’s all You will see from Him.
Since God is always present, His goodness is always present. No matter what it looks like. No matter what is going on in your life or how challenging it may seem, you can count on His goodness always shining on you, following you like the sun.
Even when it doesn’t feel like He is doing anything, He’s right there working the most. He is working out your situation, and you can trust that you are going to see a glorious and good outcome. Whether you even feel like you’re worthy, or that you deserve it, He is and will always be good to you.
Give voice to what you know to be true, not to your temporary circumstance. Even if all you can say right now is that He’s working on your heart, He is good. If all you see is that He’s showing you some areas that you need to change, He is good. If His outcome isn’t the one you wanted, if His will isn’t your will–He is still good. Know that things will always work out. He will provide. It will get better, because He is good.
Prayer: Father, I wake up and say that You are good! I choose to be a man of praise. No matter what I see or how I feel, it doesn’t change Who You are. Surely goodness and mercy follows me. Help me to constantly remember not only are You good, but You always be good to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
