Fill your heart with what He says

March 31, 2019

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper” Psalm 1:2-3, NKJV.

A tree cannot survive without water. But with it, a tree can thrive. You are a tree of righteousness, and it is vital to plant yourself by the river of God’s Word. Do not underestimate its’ power. He framed the world with it. Jesus fought with it. He healed with it.

His Word has the power to strengthen your faith, fuel your praise and keep you thriving. It doesn’t mean we won’t go through anything, but God’s Word will sustain you, feed you and help you overcome through it. Don’t fill your heart with what the devil says. Fill your heart with what God says!

Confession: God’s Word is powerful. I am a tree of righteousness and I will plant myself by the river of His Word. It flows with strength. It flows with life. I fill my heart with what He says right now. I believe, therefore, I speak. According to Isaiah 53:4-5, by His stripes I am healed. According to Proverbs 4:22, Your Word is life and health to my body. I am more than a conqueror. I fill my heart and my mouth with what He says. Hallelujah!

Study: Psalm 91:14-16, Proverbs 4:22, Mark 11:22-24, 2 Corinthians 4:13
