“I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” Acts 20:35, NKJV.
I have been honored and am very grateful to have lately helped some people get jobs. I also assisted a relative get a free washer and dryer, who didn’t have a working one for a long time. It feels good to be a blessing.
It feels good to get blessed, but it feels even better to be one. When you become what someone has been believing and praying for. When you become and meet someone’s desire or need. You won’t find a happier and more gratifying place than when you choose to be like Jesus and give your time, your resources and your life, so that someone else can be blessed.
Be open to being a blessing today. The kingdom meets needs and that’s what we’re called to be now in these times.
Prayer: Father, I give You praise today and I thank You for speaking to me. Your word says it is more blessed to give than to receive. Show me even more how to walk this out in a simple and practical way. Use me to meet someone’s need. Use me to be what someone has been believing and praying for. There’s not a more happier place than to give of myself and be a great blessing! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
