Faith is what’s going to get you there

January 4, 2017

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony” Hebrews 11:1-2, NKJV.

If faith was a cup, it is what you use to pick up what you are hoping for. If faith was a car, it is what you drive to get to God’s destination for your life.

If God said fall back and trust Me, faith says my God will catch me. If God said speak, faith says He will fill my mouth. If God said fast, faith says His grace will help you do it. If the Father says obey Me, faith says He has something good He’s trying to get to me.

If you want more faith to come into your life, God’s Word is what will bring it into your life. The more you hear God, the more faith will come.

Before you read it, consider what you are believing God for and locate those scriptures. Think on them, think on what He has spoken about this year and watch you begin to respond in faith to God. Watch you begin to respond in faith to His Spirit when He leads you to do something. The Father needs a faith response from you so He can bring His plans for you to pass!

Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your Word. This year, You have said You will do great things in my life. This a year of reward. This is a year of great outpouring from You! I believe You Lord! As You lead me by Your Spirit this year, help me to have a response of faith and obey You, most of all in how I live. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Study: 1 Kings 17:8-16, Romans 10:17
