Enduring Hardness

September 19, 2018

“You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” 2 Timothy 2:1, 3, NKJV

You may be experiencing some rough situations as you pursue to press your way into the promises of God. Things may not be so comfortable in your life right now. But don’t quit and turn back. It is time to strip your boots tighter and endure.

Some things are hard because it is not God’s will for us. Yet, just because it is hard, doesn’t mean it is not God. Just because it is testing your faith more than it has ever been tested, doesn’t mean it is not God. He is stretches us for His calling ahead.

Be strong in God’s grace–His strength to help you through this season. Proclaim God’s will for you more. Pray more. Think on His Word more. Praise God more. Cover yourself in the Lord. Like Jesus endured the cross, endure hardness as a good soldier and keep your eyes on the joy before you. Your breakthrough and blessing will surely come.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for the power of Your Word. Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. I am more than a conqueror. Give me the courage and grace I need to endure this hardness. Help me be strong in the grace. I trust You and I praise You because my breakthrough is ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

I sometimes read these and they seem to be fairly universal. I have a family member that I sometimes send them to when fitting. However; this on really hit it on the head for where I am at at this moment. Waiting on breakthrough and I have no one standing with me or diligently praying till my promise from God comes. I stand alone. Please pray for a sister that her breakthrough comes and I will be praying for all the men that read Son’s of the King. May the blessings of the Lord rain down on you as you intercede for not just your brothers in Christ but for your sisters in Christ as well. Amen. Thank you all and be blessed!
