“Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; be their shepherd also, and carry them forever” Psalm 28:9, Amplified.
There’s nothing like the carrying power of the Lord. The One who girded us up when we had no answer for our sin. The One who took all of our sickness and disease on His shoulders. The One who gave His life and all that He had in order to change our eternal destination from hell to heaven, is able to carry you through whatever you’re experiencing right now.
When you feel you are at your breaking point and you can’t go another step, like a good shepherd, He’ll carry you. He’ll step in and lift up the head of a grown man that’s in tears, who’s tired. He’ll pick up the man who says it’s too tough right now. He’ll give hope to the man that is feeling like throwing in the towel. I know that to be the case in my own life when I asked God to remove the pain, and although it didn’t change, He told me He would carry me through it until it did, and I came to know how real God is. He will do the same for you. Know this my brother, He’ll never allow anything on us more than we can bear, always carrying us to the way out (1 Cor. 10:13).
He said He would never leave us nor forsake us. He’ll carry you through the storm, through the loss, through the pain, through the disappointment. We must come to Him. We must believe on Jesus and come to Him. Everything else will fail to help us, but He won’t. He’ll meet you at your point of need and carry you through it.
Prayer: Lord, carry me through this. I feel like I can’t go another step and unless You carry me, I’m not going to make it. I am at a breaking point and I need you Lord to pick me up. Be my Shepherd. Heal me. Comfort me. Encourage me. Carry me. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
