An encouraging testimony about direction!

July 18, 2019

“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come” John 16:13, ESV.

I had been working at this new company for 8 months, just working in the department that I had been hired to work in. I was fine with working there, but God told me that it was my time to leave and that He had some other people He wanted me to reach there, and He wanted to bless me.

One job I applied for, I had an interview and I never heard anything back from the hiring manager. I had to fight to not be discouraged. I then found two positions that I had interest in, but the Holy Spirit said no, just apply for that one. So I did.

Two days later, a high-level woman who rarely comes to my department to get her packages, tells someone on this particular day that she’ll come pick it up. She then talks with my manager, who calls me over to meet her. God graced me to speak very well without effort, causing her to be very impressed with me. I recognized I had favor with her also. At the very moment, I knew it was God’s hand in all of this. The interesting thing about it was because of her high-level position, she didn’t know that she was actually listed as the hiring manager for the one job the Lord told me to apply for!

I had a three-panel interview, and I then received a call with a job offer. God gave me a new position to reach others, and at the same time, making the highest salary I’ve ever had.

I can testify that He is good and will provide direction. Don’t give up on whatever He told you. I didn’t get the first job because I wasn’t supposed to, and I found out it paid a lot less than my new one. Whether financially or another area in your life, if He could lead me and do it for me, know my brother He will do it for you.

Prayer: I give You praise Father for how You bless us! I’m encouraged this morning. Help me to hear Your Holy Spirit to only follow Your direction and Your leading right into my blessing. I thank You for it now! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
