A Rejoicing Life

July 12, 2019

“But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You” Psalm 5:11, NKJV.

“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice” Philippians 4:4, NKJV.

There is always a reason for you to rejoice. Rejoice over the what the Lord has done and is doing in your life. Rejoice because you are a man that’s going to another level. Be glad that He has made you whole. Yet above all, rejoice because your name is written in heaven (see Luke 10:20).

God’s desire is that your day be full of rejoicing in Him, as the Lord has made you glad. Just as a man you rejoice over your life-long sports team, rejoice over your God. Shout for joy because He covers you and He’s got your back. It will keep your joy full.

As you learn to rejoice, you will be more of a man that’s free of care, and more lighthearted. You will find it to become easier to remind yourself and shout for joy over what the Lord can do, and that you can’t lose.

Prayer: Father, I rejoice over You! There’s no better way to live. I rejoice because my name is written in heaven! I rejoice because You are up to something great in my life! Thank You for defending me and being a good Father to me. I rejoice over the victory I in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
