One step at a time.

“Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it’…” Isaiah 30:21, NKJV.

“But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day” Proverbs 4:18, NKJV.

Remember, when God is telling you to do something, take it one step at a time. One step of obedience after another. One shift after another. One decision after another. One adjustment after another. You will watch the days get brighter and brighter. You will watch your life get brighter and brighter as the noonday. It begins by not focusing on everything at once, but rather on the step of obedience that lies before you. Just focus on being faithful in the little. And then you will find yourself being faithful and much. If God has spoken, whatever God has spoken about you. Obedience in the small daily decisions will prepare your faith for the big decisions to come.

If you are in a tough situation and it appears like a great mountain before you, God will bless you with the wisdom, the instruction of a step. Handle the mountain one stone at a time. And watch God turn it around. Watch God turn you around. Be strong and of good courage. Resist impatience and flow with God’s pace. One step at a time.

Prayer. Father. You are worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. Thank you so much for the encouragement this morning and the wisdom to handle what’s before me one step at a time. Help me to obey You with each step, right into the change, into the turnaround in my life. Remind me of what You have already told me to do, and help me do just that first. Nothing more, nothing less. And then continue to let you lead me from there. You are a good Father. Thank You for a great brightness in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
