When you’re thirsty, draw from your salvation!

December 8, 2025

“Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid…Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation” Isaiah‬ ‭12:2-3‬, NKJV‬.

A well is a source of water created by digging a hole in the earth. In biblical times, they were a valuable resource. They weren’t built far away, but very close to a reliable water supply. It has something to draw with confidence from and wells cannot be moved.

God desires for us to draw more from Him in these times. The salvation the Father has provided in Christ is a rescue not only for your soul but for everything that pertains to living and overcoming in this life. You are a man, built to handle many things, but when you’re thirsty, you need to joyfully draw from Jesus! There is a well of courage in your salvation and you can draw it out. There is a well of joy in your salvation and you can draw it out. You may have messed up, but, there is a well of mercy and grace in your salvation and you can draw anytime. No matter what you go through, He’s always close, and thank God you have a salvation that can never be moved.

Prayer: Father, I can come to You for everything! I can go to You for everything I need. I am thirsty and I ask that You fill my cup today. According to Your word, I come and draw with joy today. Help me to lean on and understand You more Jesus and this great salvation I’ve found in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
