“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth” Genesis 1:26, NKJV.

We are our happiest when we’re creating. You were made in the image of God and His likeness. You resemble Him. He poured into you His likeness, and you are fearfully, wonderfully made. He spent seven days making the earth and man. He created and then said it was very good. He creates, and so you were made to be just like your Heavenly Father.

As men, we can keep going to work and come back home…going to work and come back home… but if you’re not walking in what God created you for, you won’t ever be happy. You aren’t satisfied unless you are who He made you to be, walking in what you know that makes you leap and live your best life. If you fail once, don’t worry because if that’s what He fashioned you for, it will inevitably succeed by His grace. You aren’t a man made in the image of the Creator, and there not be the ability in you to create. With the Lord’s help, you can build the life He desires for you. What you see, He wants that you have. Who you know you are on the inside, the Lord planned for you to be everything He created you to be on the outside. You were made to reign.

Make it a point to create something in your life. What God says to do won’t fail. He said you’re like me. Lean on Me. Trust Me, and do not be afraid. Create.

Prayer: Father, You made me, and what a blessing to be made me like You! Help me to create. Help me to walk in every divine purpose you have designed for me. I was made with purpose, and I thank You that I can create and build something great in my life through Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
