“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow…” Philippians 2:9-10, NKJV.

“Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name” Luke 10:17, NKJV.

One Sunday morning, I went to visit a small church in a small town. There weren’t a lot of people present. They had pews, no chairs, and their instruments weren’t the best. The choir didn’t sound like they had won an award. Yet, from a sincere heart, they began to call on Jesus, and God’s presence filled the place, and He moved in a powerful way.

No matter where you are in your life, facing a challenge, depressed, discouraged, feeling like you’re without hope, sick, lacking, or alone, Jesus says to call on His name. You may not know what to say in your moment, but it doesn’t take much. From a sincere heart, Jesus says to call His name. Speak the Name over you and your family, your health, and your finances. The devil can’t handle the Name that saves, delivers, and makes us free. His name is so powerful you can call it in prayer, and it will work for someone overseas.

When you don’t know what to say or do, call on the mighty name of Jesus and watch God move in a mighty way.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for speaking to me today. In the midst of my situation, I call the name of Jesus. I speak Jesus over my family and me. Help me and strengthen me. Through Your name, freedom is rising in my life. The devil trembles at Your name. Thank You, Jesus, that I can always call on You! In Your name, I pray, Amen!
