“Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever” Psalms‬ ‭106:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever” Psalm 23:6, NKJV.

I woke up this morning saying God You are good.

I’m not saying that everything in my life looks like I want it to be, yet all I know is that despite the challenges before me, I always manage to see and experience God being good to me, even exceeding what I could have done myself.

The reality is that since God is always present, His goodness is always present. No matter what it looks like all around you or feels like. No matter how challenging it may seem, you can count on His goodness always shining on you, following you like the sun, whether you feel like you are worthy of it or deserve it. He is good. He is faithful, and you are going to see a glorious outcome.

Give voice to what you know to be true, not to your temporary circumstance. Even if all you see right now is that He’s working on your heart, that is a blessing. If all you see is that He’s showing you some areas that you need to change, that is a blessing. If His outcome isn’t the one you wanted, if His will isn’t your will, He is still good. It will get better, your needs will be met, and He will move on your behalf again and again…

Because He’s good.

Prayer: Father, I thank You today. You are good! No matter what I see or feel, You are good to us. I choose to be a man of joy and to praise You. Surely goodness and mercy follow me, and I believe You are moving in my life. Help me to constantly remember Your goodness toward me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
