“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1‬:‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

Jesus’ name in Hebrew means “Savior”. It also means “Jahweh saves”, “Yahweh is salvation”. The Father named Him Jesus because He saves people from their sins. Jesus fulfilled His name for you.

Therefore, God is literally saying I came to save you. My gift to you is your Savior Jesus. My gift to you is saving you from your our sins. May every time you hear the name of Jesus in this season, in your life, touch you deeply because of what Christ has done and what He means in your daily life when you call His name. Each time you talk to the Lord, sit before Him, pray asking for His help, His joy, His comfort in the midst of pain or loneliness, you are calling Savior, the One Who saves. He saved your soul and He will save you in life.

Not only on Christmas, but enjoy the greatest gift today, Jesus, your very salvation. Born to save.

Prayer: Father, thank you for sending Jesus. Let your name always be a reminder that you save. May this revelation bring great joy in me this season. May this revelation carry even more weight when I call your name about what I’m facing. Your name is Savior. Yahweh Saves. Saving is what you do. Thank you Lord! In your name I pray, Amen!
