When you’re fed up.

Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God— soon I’ll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He’s my God” Psalm 42:11, Message Bible.

Sometimes, it takes getting fed up. We can get fed up with many things, but there’s nothing like getting tired of circumstances always determining whether you’re happy, whether you walk in joy.

You are fed up with your situation and outward circumstances having that much control over you. You’re fed up with being shut up. You are deciding that you’ve been disquieted long enough, and you will choose hope in your moment. You are blessed in Christ and you have power through him to reign. Put on a favorite praise song and tell the Lord his praises will continually be in your mouth! Tell him no matter what, I’m not tapping out on you! I declare you are inspired to live and reminded that God is too good to let you down. Whether you have two million dollars or two dollars, whether God changes it or not, today like David, you let the Lord put a smile on your face. Today you choose joy and victory. Today you choose to hope in God!

Prayer: Father, I praise you and give you all the glory. I’m fed up with circumstances controlling me. No more! I have freedom, and I am blessed in Christ, no matter what. You are my joy! I will smile today. I will live today. The devil has no place in my life. Whether what I’m experiencing changes or not, my hope is in you! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
