Understanding where you are.

“He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy” Matthew 26:42-43, NKJV.

“Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is” Ephesians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

Do you understand the magnitude of where you are right now in your life? Can you see what is ahead of you? Jesus did, and he prayed. He heard from the Father and was clear on what He was doing in his life.

Understanding God is wanting to direct your path will promote more prayer. Understanding promotes focus, Spirit-led decision making and peace. You may not know everything right now, but say to yourself I must become clear regarding where the Lord is taking me. If there was a time to be praying for God’s guidance, to walk in His Spirit, to put down and pick up again, for you to go deeper into His plans, it’s now in your life as you enter a new year. Pray for the strength to resist the devil that wants you to be stuck, fearful and unrepentant in this mighty hour for you. There are great things in store and I declare that you are about to enter into them.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for opening my eyes to importance of where I am in my life, and the need for me to pray and hear Your voice. There’s a need for me to be led by You. You helped Jesus to understand and do Your will and I ask that You help me. Help me not wander, but move forward. Your grace is enough and I receive it by faith to enter into Your plans for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!

Study: Matthew 26:36-43, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, Proverbs 3:5-6

  1. Good morning Father God, all knowing God! Lord I feel my life going in a different direction and it is good! I admit that the picture is not clear, it’s a little fuzzy! But where You lead me, I will follow! I thank You Father for all things done and all things that will be done! I love You with my whole heart! These things I pray in Jesus Christ name, Amen! ????????????????????????
