The want to.

“For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure” Philippians 2:13, NKJV.

Father, I give you all the praise, honor, and glory. Thank you for even the thought and heart to want to do right. Some people don’t want you at all in their lives, but I do. I have a want to know you more. I want your high calling to be walked out in my life. Continue to deal with what I desire. Like a car in the shop, keep working on my want to. The desire to go deeper. The desire for your word. The desire for you, Jesus, to live through me. I don’t want to stay the same today. May my greatest desire be more of you. I have a desire to change and turn from sin, and I praise you for that. I take a stance to put my trust in you, to depend on you, to hear and obey you. I say yes today! Lord, you are good and your mercy endures forever. Thank you for working in me the will and the doing of your good pleasure. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
