“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ” 1 Peter‬ ‭1:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

My brother, the trying of our faith is precious and more valuable than gold.

Your faith may be tested right now, but it will come out on the other side pure as gold. This is the faith the Father is after, therefore, that is why He has allowed it to be tried in all types of fires in life. From relationships to trusting in money over the Lord, even when He doesn’t do what you think He should or in the timing you desire, your faith remains steadfast in Him. A faith that can’t be robbed, swayed, contaminated, or turned from. A faith that is pure and gives you power because in the fire, you have seen an unseen God keep you, rescue you, promote you for yourself.

In trying times, still praise God when your faith is tried. Through Him, you will keep standing and will come through it better than ever. More of a blessed and surrendered man to Christ. In this I greatly rejoice!

Prayer: Father, I choose to rejoice in you. You know what I need and in trying times, I will look to the hills where my help comes from. It comes from you! Although my faith is tried, I thank you I’m coming out pure as gold. Just as with Paul, be glorified through my faith that I put in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
