The table of surrender.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service” Romans 12:1, NKJV.

I know people who ran away from an operation that they knew they needed. Sometimes, that can be us in our walk with following Christ. We know we’re going to get up stronger and better. We know after it’s over, we’ll be able to run again. But we still evade it. Be encouraged not to fear doing what you know is inevitable. We all have to make the decision to get on the table called surrender. Let Him have His way. You will be stronger, better and you’ll run again. You’ll live your best life. It’s required to get to where you are destined to go. It is required to be all God called you to be.

Prayer: Father, I praise You. I ask for the grace to surrender all to You. Help me to set my life on Your table and let You do in me what You desire. Not my will, but Your will be done. Help me to trust You and know I’ll be better and stronger. I’ll run again. It’s because I surrendered. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Study: Mark 14:35-36, Romans 12:2

  1. It’s not easy to surrender to God when you don’t have a relationship with him so build yourself a strong relationship with God and know that he will take care of all your needs all your sickness. All your ailments healing is in his name, but you need a relationship. Amen.
