“But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” Revelation‬ ‭5‬:‭5‬, NKJV‬‬.

“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬ , NKJV‬‬.

Jesus’s heart powered him through to do the Father’s will. He courageously surrendered to God and said I will finish my course. Jesus’s heart was of praise, love, rule, power, and might.

You may be fighting to believe. You may be fighting to believe you are who God says you are. The Lion of Judah lives in you. Jesus has the heart of a Lion, and He lives in you. He says His heart will help your heart. It will help you wake up and pray. It will help you be bold and power through into what God wants for your life.

Judah means praise. The King wants you to take on a heart of praise! Let your praise give you courage to trust God. Keep pressing through the flesh that doesn’t want you to listen to the Holy Ghost. If you have to, speak and roar like a man, and tell the devil no, no, no, I’m doing what God says! Take on the Lion’s heart of surrender to God and walk in authority over those inner battles. As you agree with God, I believe the Lion’s grace, His heart, showing up right now to strengthen and help you!

Prayer: Father, I give you praise! Thank you, Jesus, for a lion’s heart. Give me your heart to power through what is against me. Help me power through and surrender to Your sin. The devil will not dominate me, but I will dominate over him. I take on a heart of praise! I take on the Lion’s heart today! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
