“Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day…And He said, ‘Let Me go, for the day breaks.’ But he said, ‘I will not let You go unless You bless me!’ “ Genesis 32:24-26, NKJV.
Jacob said he wouldn’t let go of the Lord until he blessed him. He could have said I’ll remain how I am or where I am, but he didn’t. He wasn’t going to settle for anything less than God’s best.
You may feel tempted or pressured right now to settle or choose something less than what God has spoken about your life but don’t settle. Make settling not an option for you. Don’t make what you know you really don’t desire an option for you. Say no to fear that comes to talk you into living a settled life. He has great things for you, even before this year is out, He wants you to remain aggressive about receiving them. Roll up your sleeves and cooperate with the Holy Spirit regarding the will of God for you.
Don’t settle now. Settle for nothing less than His best.
Prayer: Father, I praise you for this great reminder and encouragement. I thank you for having great things planned for me, and I will not settle for anything less than your will for me. Help me not allow fear to talk me into living a settled life. Show me my part and help me to do it by Your Spirit. I will listen and obey You. I declare that I will settle for nothing less than your best. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Good morning Father God, my Everything Hod! I will not settle! I know You have an abundance of work go me to do Father. I am here able and willing yo do Thy will. Thank You Father for Your Love for me! I am so grateful for giving me life, so that I may worship You! I pray these things in Your Son, my Savior, Jesus Christ name, Amen!
