“So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.” And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus” Mark 10:49-50, NKJV.
You may have been broken. Your path disturbed by calamity, tests, and trials in your life. It hasn’t been easy even to get this far. Yet, you’re here. The blind man cried out for Jesus, and He rose and met him, throwing aside his garment. Then, he was healed, and he went on to follow the Lord.
Unload the bad and cleave to what is good from what you’ve been through. Like giving it to the wind, give it to the Father. Let go of the old and embrace the new. Because now it’s time to rise. The Lord is calling you. Rise to who you are. Rise to confidence and purpose. Rise to faith in the God in you. He is greater and stronger than the enemy against you. It’s time for the life God ordained for you. It’s your season to rise.
Prayer: Father, thank you for speaking to me today. Jesus, you’re calling me. Like the blind man, I rise and come to you, receiving everything you have for my life. Help me to be everything you created me to be. No more of the old, no more of what I’ve been through. It’s my season to step into something new. It’s my season to rise. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
