“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” Matthew 11:29, NKJV.

“The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you” Philippians 4:9, NKJV.

Can you be humble enough to become a student again? As men, we can become grown and of age, and stray away from being a listener to anyone. No one can give us advice, and we can’t learn anything from anyone. Yet, when we put ourselves in a place that we can’t learn, we indirectly communicate we know it all, and that is a stagnant and dangerous place for a man to be.

In a spirit of meekness (teachable), always remain as a student, most of all before the Lord. It’s okay for a man to say I can learn more in a certain area of my life. No matter where you are, or how much you have, be willing to give an ear and sit down before those that know more than you. You let someone teach you about the Lord, about marriage, or money. God wants to give you new revelation in this season. Just like in school you go higher in a grade, you’ll go from one faith to another, and go higher in those areas of your life.

Prayer: Father, I give You praise. thank You that it’s okay to be a student again. Help me to sit down, learn and receive from someone that know more than I do, especially before You! As I do, take me to a new level and change my life. Thank you Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
