Remember, salvation is a gift.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” Ephesians 2:8-9, NKJV.

Remember, salvation is a gift. You didn’t have to earn it. You didn’t have to work for it. You didn’t have to meet a certain requirement, and you don’t have to continue to meet certain requirements or perform well to keep it.

Jesus met the requirement for you. He paid a debt you could not pay. It is simply a gift. When your friend gives you a gift on your birthday, you don’t ask how much do I owe them. They wouldn’t even respond to you. It was freely given. It’s a gift. Just as you received that gift, receive with joy the gift of your salvation and everything that springs from it. The victory and great grace that springs out of it. It is yours. And if you fall short, you make a mistake, God won’t take His gift back. He won’t take Jesus from you. He won’t take His Spirit from you. You have been given everything that pertains to life and godliness. You are seated in heavenly places with Christ. Be reminded of what you have in the Lord and let nothing get you down today. Let praise and freedom be your man song. You are saved, ordained for a triumphant life, ordained for eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Prayer, Father. I give You praise, honor, and glory. Thank You for the precious gift of salvation I have in Christ. I’m reminded today that there’s nothing that I have to do to earn it daily. I don’t have to meet certain expectations to be saved. It is a gift, and I receive it. I also receive everything that comes from having Jesus in my life today. The Son has set me free. Joy, peace, and dominion are mine today. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
