Prepare for what you expect.

“He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it” 1 Thessalonians 5:24, NKJV.

If you woke up and checked the weather channel, and it said we are expecting thunderstorms and rain all day tomorrow, there are things you’ll do to prepare for it. You would get an umbrella, bring your lunch to work, and dress appropriately in expectation of the rain to come.

We prepare for what we expect, and we expect what we believe.

If God has spoken to you about anything He is going to do in your life, it would be wise to expect it and prepare for it. If you don’t expect God to cause your vision to come to pass, you won’t run with it. If you don’t expect God to use your gifts, you won’t perfect them so they can be used to advance His kingdom. If you’re not expecting to be blessed with a wife then you won’t prepare yourself and get your finances in order. He that has called you, will surely do it.

Believe what He said and expect it to happen, because it surely will. Get focused, prepare yourself, and do what is required to get ready. Be ready to seize your open door. Be ready to seize the open doors to be a witness. Be ready for the blessing when it comes.

Prayer: Father, thank You for speaking to me about what You desire for my life. Help me to increase my expectation of You. I will not be afraid, but I will believe. You want to use me in a great way. You want to bless me in a great way! Help me to lean forward, trusting You will do it through me. You will do what You said You will do. I will prepare for what I expect and be ready when the blessing comes. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
