Obey God. You’ll be glad you did!

“So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority…was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. Then the Spirit said to Philip, ‘Go near and overtake this chariot’ ” Acts 8:26-29, NKJV.

There was something God was leading me to do and step-by-step the Holy Spirit was saying to go here, go there and do this. While planning to stop at the gas station to get our kids a treat, we saw a Family Dollar and stopped there instead. As we were about to leave, a woman comes up to me saying she had to obey and begins to prophesy over my life. It truly blessed me. I’m glad He led and helped me the entire time so I could be there at that moment to receive.

Throughout the course of your day and your life, know that God is desiring to get things into your hands. Like a key that opens the door, obeying the leading of the Holy Spirit positions us to receive. Through obedience, you will find your blessing and be someone’s blessing that they’re praying for. Through obedience, you will run right into it. The Holy Spirit is your Guide and if you will follow Him, if you obey Him, you’ll be glad you did.

Prayer: Father, You are good and there is none like You! I desire to be guided by You Holy Spirit. As I acknowledge You, direct my path. Help me Father to obey You. Not only to receive a blessing, but also when You tell me to be one. I will be glad I did. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. Amen! Good morning Father God, distributer of blessings! Father help me to continue to be a blessing to others Lord God! I fall short sometimes, especially when my patience run thin when I’m attempt to bless someone and they don’t seem to recieve it, like I would want them too. Then I realize that I’m frustrated because, that’s not my job! My job is to deliver the message, its their job to know You well enough to receive it! I’m supposed to lead them to You and get out of Your way! Hallelujah, what a break through that was just now!!! Thank You Father! This I pray in Jesus Christ name, Amen!
