“And Boaz answered and said to her, “It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before. The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge”.

Boaz spoke into Ruth’s life. He encouraged and affirmed her, knowing all that she had been through. As a man of God, your wife desires you to be able to speak into her life and encourage her when it’s hard for her to encourage herself. She will need you to hear from God where she is in her life and meet her there. It’s invaluable when a man knows how to speak kindly, lovingly, and minister to her.

As a husband, you are the pastor and priest of your home. One of the greatest ways to love your wife is when you take her by the hand and say, “Let me pray over you”. When you stop, take the lead in the middle of what you both are facing, and say, “Let’s pray together.” When you say baby, I can tell you’re going through something. I can tell you’ve had a long day. I can tell you feel weak right now. Let me pray for you.
