“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” John 1:1 & 14, NKJV.

Sometimes, when I read my Bible, I don’t know where to begin, but I find as I keep searching, somehow the Lord always meets me there. God began to show me why.

It’s because Jesus is the Word.

He is the Word of God, and He became flesh and dwelt among us. He experienced everything we experience. Through His word, He will never fail to draw near to you with grace and truth. If you come draw near to God by opening your Bible to read it, whether day or night, hill or valley, good times or bad, Jesus will come near and dwell with you.

God’s word has everything you need for strong faith, freedom and life. Press into His word today.

Prayer: Father, thank You for the Word Jesus Christ. He is near. Help me to draw near to the Word today, somewhere in the Word–and find that you meet me right where I’m at in my life. Jesus will come near and meet my need. In Your great name I pray, Amen.
