It won’t always be this way.

“May the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children” Psalm 115:13, NKJV.

I remember at a church we were attending many years ago, the pastor would see my wife and me around the church with all of our children. We had four back then, and I must say, it was challenging as a man at that point in my life. He’d been where we were before in his life. After service, he would come to me, stop for a second, and say, “It won’t always be this way”. Those were a few words, yet they spoke volumes and would console me to the core. If we just keep walking with God, it will get better.

Wherever you are in your life, I speak to you, brother, the same. With all sincerity and consolation, I say to you the same. It won’t always be this way. You won’t always be where you are. You won’t always be in a trying time or facing a financial challenge. As long as you remain faithful to God and faithful to your family, it will always get better.

His desire is that you lack no good thing and that you abound in every good work. The Lord has a plan, and as you continue to walk with Him, His plans for your life will unfold, and they will stand. His will for your life will stand, including increasing you more and more, you and your children. He will not fail you. He will bring it to pass.

Prayer: Father, you know what I’m going through, yet I’m encouraged to know it won’t always be this way. As long as I keep walking with You, it will get better. I will stay faithful and keep trusting You. According to Your word, You will increase us more and more, us and our children. According to Your word, a faithful man shall abound in blessings. If there’s anything I need to do, give me wisdom and help me to submit to Your will for me. Help me to keep my wife and family encouraged, also. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
