He’s the center of your joy.

“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full” John 15:11, NKJV.

“And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, where they crucified Him, and two others with Him, one on either side, and Jesus in the center” John‬ ‭19‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

I wake up remembering an old song called “Jesus the center of my joy” by Richard Smallwood. What a great reminder of how everything that fulfills us, gives life meaning, strengthens us, and makes us simply happy revolves around Jesus.

The love that Jesus has for you will miraculously hold your joy together, no matter what you go through. Knowing His word and keeping it will hold your joy together and cause you to be full of it, even in the unlikeliest times. Just as Jesus was in the middle of two thieves on the cross, He is in the middle of your life to heal, deliver, and save. He’s at the center to help you forgive, reconcile, and save too. He desires that you know He loves you greatly. He’s your overcoming hope and the center of your joy! I declare He’s touching your heart, giving you wisdom for healing in your relationships, and making your joy full today.

Prayer: Father, I give you all the praise, honor, and glory. Jesus, You are the center of my joy and my life. You are my hope and strength. You are the very heart I need to be the man you’ve called me to be. I get full of joy simply knowing You love me greatly. Help me be in the middle like you and forgive, mend, and save. Help me to abide in Your word and love by loving others as you have loved me. My joy overflows today. In your name, I pray, Amen!
