“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you…” Deuteronomy 31:8, ESV.

There is an overwhelming truth that can help you in the most trying times. It’s knowing that God will never leave nor forsake you. The devil will tell you that God has left you, but He hasn’t. Your Almighty God is always at arm’s reach.

Whether you are in prison or the penthouse, He won’t ever leave you. Whether you are in court or the hospital room, He won’t ever leave you. You could have just decided to live in sin, or for the moment, you just don’t care right now, yet He still won’t leave you. Some people will leave your side when things get tough, but in the heat of the fire my brother, that’s when you learn the Father is with you the most.

He is Jehovah Shammah–The Lord Who is There–meaning wherever you are, He will be present and always help you when you call. Call Him now. He is Jehovah Jireh your Provider, and He is there to supply all your needs. Jesus is the Way and there to grace you to always overcome.

Prayer: Father, thank You for never leaving nor forsaking me. No matter where we are, You are there. Help me always to remember You are at arm’s reach when I call. I’m calling now. My peace comes from You. May my faith rest in You and that in my battle, You are with me to overcome it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
