“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing” 1 Corinthians 13:1-2 NKJV.
Genuine means sincerely, honestly felt or experienced. Actually produced by or proceeding from the alleged source or author. Truly what something is said to be.
Ask God for a genuine love. A love that really meets people where they are. Willing to help. A love that may not condone, but doesn’t condemn. A love that doesn’t push a believer or unbeliever away because they messed up. A love that is authentic. Real. Because that is what people need right now. That’s what will win people right now.
Prayer: Father, Help me to have genuine love. Your love is already within me by Your Spirit, so I ask that You help me to walk in Your kind of love. I don’t want to religious, but authentic and real. I thank You and I receive the grace to love like You Jesus. In Jesus name’, Amen!
