“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place” 2 Corinthians 2:14, KJV.
What are you thankful and grateful for today? Some people would love to have what you have. They would love to have the health you have. They would love to have your family because their’s is gone. Be thankful to have what you do have. You are blessed to be alive and to have family and friends. You may desire more, yet you could easily have less.
Moments like these gives you a glimpse of how everyday life should be. Life should be lived with an utmost attitude of gratitude, seeing God in everything. There’s not a better way to live! There’s no better perspective on whatever you experience than thankfulness. When you are thankful, you make God known in the earth. When you are thankful, you will always be reminded of the goodness of God you’ve experienced, which will help you see God in every challenge that comes.
Your attitude will determine your altitude. If you are grateful for Him in everything, no matter where you are in your life, you will always see God in it, see God is working on your behalf and be thankful.
Prayer: Father, thank You! You have done so much in my life! Help me to have an attitude of gratitude today. Thank You that I’m alive. I’m grateful for every victory, every blessing, every gift, every family member, every instrumental person You’ve used to help me in my life. I pray for those that don’t have their family, their husband, wife or child with them. Give them comfort and strength. I choose to not take anything for granted. I will praise You and see You through it all, and be thankful. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
