“But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” Numbers 14:24, NKJV.

Like Joshua and Caleb, this hour is going to require you to have a different spirit. They knew who they were and who was with them. You see those gigantic grapes in the land and say those are mine. Let’s take that mountain. If you see yourself with the eyes of your enemies as grasshoppers, you’ll see your land, but you won’t enter into it. The devil will be allowed to keep you from what God has for you.

Have a different spirit. A different attitude. A different courage and perspective. The devil may be saying there are giants in the land, but there’s a bigger Giant in you, Jesus. Your year will be better, your growth in God will be better, and your life will be better. God wouldn’t show you to disappoint you. Know who you are and Who you carry in you. Time for a different spirit.

Prayer: Father, thank you for stirring me up this morning. I am not a grasshopper, and I will not receive the lies of the enemy. I will not have a bad year. I receive a different spirit. I will walk like I know who I am in Christ. I am confident and strong. By your Spirit, I will be who you have called me to be, and I will take my mountain. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
