“And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself” Matthew 22:39, NKJV.
“And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, “How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?” Mark 2:16, NKJV.
Two things Jesus did: He hung around His Father God and He hung around people. He spent time with God and He spent time with people. When you hang around God, He can affect you. When you hang around people, you can affect them. The same God that affected you, that influenced you, impacted your life, your plans and direction, will be the same God that affects those around you.
This is the love of God.
Take time and hang around someone who could use some godly wisdom. They will appreciate the love. Stop for a brief moment with your co-worker and be a friend. Open your life and make room for others. God wants to bless you and use you to bless others with Christ.
Confession: I hang around God, and He speaks to me. I hang around God, and I am flooded with courage that I can do it. I hang around God, and He empowers me. I have seen God change my life. I will hang around people and allow God to change theirs. I will spend time with people and watch God encourage them. People are God’s heartbeat, and I decide to make them mine.
Good morning Father God, my Best Friend, my Hanging Partner! I love that You are here waiting for me to hang around You! As You know Father I do my absolute best to hang around You! I do my absolute best to hang around people, that should know You better. But sometimes I allow people to get in my way, instead showing them the way. Thank You for Your Grace! This allows me to get back on track without judgement! I love You Father, in the name Jesus I pray, Amen!
