“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows” Matthew 10:29-31, ESV.

There are 43 species of the sparrow, and they abide on almost every continent. Not only one but two sparrows were sold for a coin at the time of this scripture. Yet, your Father watched over these small birds and accounted for every one of them.

Don’t receive the lie from the wicked one that God is not watching over you. Don’t receive the lie for a second that God has abandoned you. Reject the worry that there is no provision in sight. You are of more value than millions of sparrows. He cares about what you go through, and He is right there with you as you go through it.

He also knows the number of hairs on your head. Whether you still have them on your head or not, God accounted for each of them. God will work out your life according to His divine purpose and plan. Again I say, choose today to not receive the lie from the wicked one that God won’t bring you into a place of victory and peace. Be reminded of His love, His care, and the extent to which He’s watching over you.

Prayer: Father, I give you praise. Thank you for caring about my life. You care about my purpose, job situation, marriage, kids, and everything that concerns me. God, if you care for the sparrows, you care for me, your son. If you know the hairs on my head, You surely care for me, your son. I will not fear, but I will rest today. It will be an amazing day. My Father is watching over me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
