Father, I’ll let you drive.

“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday” Psalm 37:5-6, NKJV.

Years ago, my wife and I went on an African safari. We rode in a jeep with other tourists and had to trust the driver could navigate us through it. We saw all kinds of animals–rhinos, a lion, giraffes, and elephants. We even experienced an elephant charging at us, and my wife and I were tempted to jump out of the truck and run! But we trusted the driver. He gave us instructions for our safety amid big animals and rough terrain. We had to give up control and let him lead the way–and we arrived back safe and it was a great blessing.

You may feel like you’re in some rough terrain in your life too. Things in the world have gotten so deep, and your eyes see so much happening. Yet, don’t be discouraged. Don’t jump out of His will. The Lord is your Driver. He knows the end from the beginning, and He will complete the work He has started in you. He is sovereign, good, and is for you. So, when the Lord gives you instructions, adhere to them. It may be tempting to do it your way, but do it God’s way. God is giving you instructions for your safety and for your good. There is a path He has for you, but you must let Him have full control and steer your life.

Prayer: Father, I give you praise. I thank you that even in rough terrain, You are my Driver. Even in new things, You are my Driver. You are a good God and I can trust You. Help me to let go of my control and adhere to your instructions. I will trust You right now. I will arrive at every blessed place You have for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

  1. Praise God for the favor, peace and restoration of faith. Thank you Lord for the acceptance of my repentance. Laying my worries of this world at the altar. In Jesus name, I bind Satan and his demons up and cast them into the fiery pit of sulfar so that my blessings won’t be hindered.

  2. In Jesus name, Amen! Good morning Father God, The Driver of my life! You are always in control! I don’t want to think where I would be without Your control Dear God! I live You and I thank You Father for all that You are to me! I pray in Jesus name, Amen!
