“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday” Psalm 37:5-6, NKJV.
Years ago, my wife and I went on an African safari. We rode in a jeep with other tourists and had to trust the driver could navigate us through it. We saw all kinds of animals–rhinos, a lion, giraffes, and elephants. We even experienced an elephant charging at us, and my wife and I were tempted to jump out of the truck and run! But we trusted the driver. He gave us instructions for our safety amid big animals and rough terrain. We had to give up control and let him lead the way–and we arrived back safe and it was a great blessing.
You may feel like you’re in some rough terrain in your life too. Things in the world have gotten so deep, and your eyes see so much happening. Yet, don’t be discouraged. Don’t stop following Jesus. Don’t jump out of His will. The Lord is your Driver and He will get you to every destination He has planned for your life. He knows the end from the beginning, and He will complete the work He has started in you. He is sovereign, good, and is for you. So, when the Lord gives you instructions, adhere to them. It may be tempting to do it your way, but do it God’s way. God is giving you instructions for your safety and for your good. There is a path He has for you, but you must let Him have be the Driver of your life.
Prayer: Father, I give you praise. I thank you that even in rough terrain, You are my Driver. Even in new things, You are my Driver. You are a good God and I can trust You. Help me to let go of my control and adhere to your instructions. I will trust You right now. I will arrive at every blessed place You have for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Thank you Father. These days have been hard. But I will continue to trust in you.
Thank you
Lord for taking me and bringing me.
