Do it God’s way.

“Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; they walk in His ways” Psalm 119:1-3, NKJV.

God’s desire for a man is that he be blessed. When we are asking how to receive God’s will, not usually, not some or even most, but every time, the key to being blessed is walking in His ways. It sounds simple, but time and time again, viewing your situation and your life through the lens of His way will never fail.

In those times of going back and forth on what to do, in the moments of indecision, ask yourself what is God’s way. If you don’t know what He says in His law, turn to His word. His word holds every right way to love people and handle challenges. It holds how to treat your wife, what kind of woman to choose if you’re single, how to work on your job, financial wisdom, and character.

Set your trust in the truth that His word has all the daily principles you need. In all honesty, sometimes doing it God’s way will involve a wait, make you uncomfortable, require tough forgiveness, longsuffering, or inconvenience you. Sometimes, it will cause you to have a truthful conversation, face a fear, or admit that you were wrong. Yet, in the end, the fruit of the way of righteousness, the way of love, His way of doing things, will never ever disappoint you. Your end will be blessing and peace.

Prayer: Father, I give you great praise. According to your word, blessed are the undefiled in the way who walk in your law of the Lord. Even when the situation feels messy, help me keep my mind out of it, and simply do it your way. Help me to trust you. May this simple principle have a profound impact on my life. I praise you for being blessed every time I walk in your ways. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
