Blessed When You Walk in His Ways

“Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; they walk in His ways” Psalm 119:1-3, NKJV.

God’s desire for a man is that he be blessed. When we are asking how to receive God’s will, not usually, not some or not even most, but every time the way into His will of being blessed is doing what’s right. It sounds very simple, but time and time again, viewing your situation and your life through the lens of righteousness will never fail.

In those times of going back and forth between opinions, in the moments of indecision, ask yourself what would be the right way to God. If you don’t know what He says is His law, turn to the word of God. His word holds every right way to live and handle challenges. It holds what kind of wife to choose, how to work on your job, financial stewardship and wealth. It holds how to rightly lead your family.

Set your trust in the truth that His word has all the principles you need. Then, handle it like He says–the right way. In all honesty, sometimes living the right way will involve a wait, make you uncomfortable, forgive, inconvenience you, or even cause you to have a truthful conversation or admit that you were wrong, but in the end, the fruit of the way of righteousness will never disappoint you.

Prayer: Father, according to Your word, blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. Help me to trust and simply do and live the right way. May this simple principle have a profound impact on my mind and my life. I praise You for being blessed when I live Your way. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
